A green Assam tea enriched with Osmanthus flowers for a powerful & floral rendering

Although Assam is very well known in India where it is widely consumed in black tea, our tea producer K. Jatuphon took an interest in this Camellia Sinensis var Assamica plant by working it as a green tea, subtly roasted and mixed with Osmanthus flowers.

Here there is no unfolding of the leaf as in the case of rolled leaf teas which can be infused a large number of times to appreciate the transformation of the taste. Nevertheless, the scent of the Osmanthus flower is strong enough to allow 2 or 3 infusions in a row.
