Baked Ginger Honey
Oolong tea non-rolled leaves
Ref.: 000013A Gan-on type Oolong tea in non-rolled leaves, honey, all embellished with pieces of ginger for a delicately spicy taste in a warm tea : a real health ally when cold season approaches.
However, although it is non-rolled leaves, this tea can be infused 5 times in a row.
A remarkable new tea in more ways than one. This Honey Ginger Oolong tea is a creation of our usual tea producer K Jatuphon, located on the heights of Chiang Rai, Thailand, but with 2 particularities that are close to our hearts : In addition to Oolong tea, the honey comes from our own production of the family of K Jatuphon.
Then, ginger is cultivated by the Akha ethnic families living near the plantations and who are already working in the cultivation & harvesting of K Jatuphon's tea.
It is therefore a product that K Jatuphon controls from A to Z. For us Lemon Import, it is important to underline it here.
An Oolong tea in non-rolled leaves, very close to green, with baked pieces of ginger in honey : an assembly used in Thailand to stop the cold snap & the feverish state.
Baked Ginger Honey Oolong tea : what is it about ?
Prepare for winter.
A base of rather green Oolong Gan-on tea, small pieces of ginger & honey, this is what makes this tea a great opportunity to prepare for the coming autumn-winter period.
Strengthen your immune system.
We hear about immunity all day long and everyone has their recipes. Whatever they are, immune defenses are not built overnight. It's a balance, a healthy lifestyle and it goes through a multitude of areas of everyday life.
Diet, sleep, stress management, physical activity, social life, etc., regulars at Lemon Import already know the companions of the immune system that are the pocket herbal inhaler or infusion of Jiaogulan or Oolong tea with White Ginseng.
In case of cold or feverish state, we are delighted to now offer Oolong Baked Ginger Honey tea as a new string to our bow !
Oolong tea, Ginger & Honey: a simple and strong trio to enforce your immune system day after day.
Ginger : a precious health companion.
Beyond the warm & spicy taste it adds to Oolong tea, ginger is literally overflowing with benefits.
To name only the main ones, let's take the words of the herbalist Christophe Bernard who evokes ginger as a plant that heats, which circulates, which makes you sweat. This circulatory effect is particularly interesting for people prone to cold hands or feet since it promotes the dilation of the arteries thus allowing the blood to better reach the extremities.
Because of its "hot" side, ginger has always been used to counter the penetration of cold during the winter period (pulmonary infections, nasopharyngitis, etc.). Thus, in Ayurveda or in traditional Chinese medicine, ginger is present to help the functioning of cold organs (lazy digestive system, slow gastric emptying, chronic constipation, etc.).
Honey.
A food that we know quite well in Europe and whose benefits are multiple : antiseptic, calming and softening properties that act effectively in cases of respiratory tract ailments such as colds, coughs or sore throats.
We were surprised to find it rarely in Thailand and often of poor quality in our eyes. In the case of this Oolong Honey Ginger tea, it is honey produced and harvested by the family of our tea producer in the middle of his plantations.
A warm, long-lasting & delicately spiced Oolong tea presented in a packaging reduced to the minimum.
A warm Oolong tea, long -lasting & delicately spiced.
A subtle pleasure.
From the first infusion, we notice the smell of honey and the taste of cooked ginger which is added to the discreet base of Oolong.
In addition, thanks to the presence of small pieces of ginger in this Oolong tea, a simple cup is particularly indicated to follow a meal that is a little heavy to digest, to remedy an unpleasant feeling of cold or pain in the lower abdomen.
Likewise, by integrating this note of ginger into your daily life (1 or 2 cups per day), it is also a simple aid to chronic inflammatory muscle or joint pain.
Support the cold & stimulate the immune system.
Finally, the addition of ginger in this tea seduced us with its interest in countering the feverish state during cold snaps while strengthening immunity, and all this in a simple, accessible & non-invasive way.
A minimalist presentation
In order to help reduce packaging waste, we have opted for reduced packaging.
The plastic film around the package is necessary : if not, the friction of the packages between them during transport creates tears.
An illustration of the ways in which Lemon Import is concerned with the socio-economic development of the environment of the producers with whom we work. Here, it is about the Akha populations of the region of Mae Salong.
A creation of our producer K Jatuphon & his family, with the involvement of the Akha families.
We are very proud to present this new tea which is totally cultivated, harvested & produced on the farm of our tea producer.
The honey comes from a cavity dug in the earth in the middle of the tea plantation and in which the bees have come to settle.
The production of honey is limited but it is enough to realize the idea of combining it with Oolong tea. Immediately said, immediately made by the family of the tea producer.
Ginger is produced by the Akha families who live near the plantations. These families have long been involved in the tea harvest of our producer K Jatuphon. During the harvest, they can also be recognized by their very colorful clothes decorated with small pieces of silver metal & pompoms.
A tea that bears the signature of what Lemon Import is : a responsible partnership on a human scale.
Oolong tea & honey from the family of K Jatuphon, Ginger cultivated on site by the Akha families, it is therefore a product that K Jatuphon controls from A to Z and which positively involves its geographical territory. It is important for us to make it clear here.
